Introducing Charlie Thorne
Charlie caught the storytelling bug when he was 13 and his dad handed him his old film camera passed down through the generations. He took it outside into the great outdoors and ever since, his keen eye for beautifully observed photography has become an obsession, using soft, natural light and honest, heartfelt imagery in order to tell his stories.
It wasn't until Charlie studied film at King's College that he discovered documentary, and consequently his ear for engaging stories began to blossom, he came through the ranks at Mustard making impactful and emotional films for the likes of the BBC, Cancer Research UK, Mind and Alzheimer’s Society before joining the roster at HunkyDory.
