‘Things You Should Have Done’ wins RTS Award

Jack Clough directs Best Scripted Comedy

The critically acclaimed BBC Three comedy ‘Things You Should Have Done’ directed by HunkyDory’s Jack Clough has won the Best Scripted Comedy award at the 2025 Royal Television Society (RTS) Awards.

The quirky comedy prevailed over strong competition from the ‘Gavin & Stacey’ Christmas Special and ‘We Are Lady Parts and follows the hapless adventures of naive and sheltered Chi (played by writer / creator Lucia Keskin) as she navigates a life following the sudden death of her parents.

The win marks the second time Jack has won an RTS award with ‘People Just Do Nothing’ also winning Best Scripted Comedy in 2019.
